Summary Report of China – UK Knowledge Exchange Project.

Supplementary funding was gained to add a knowledge exchange component to the UK-China Critical zone programme. This study explores what knowledge transfer and knowledge exchange activities can facilitate communication and understanding between academics and the non-academic groups in these CZ research area in the context of Chinese culture, especially in Chinese rural areas.

“With two-years research, better understanding has been developed of the Knowledge Exchange dynamic and science-policy-practice interface in China rural areas. Now this gained understanding can allow us to consider the existing pathway to impacts of each Critical Zone project and make suggestions of amendments which may make these more effective.” A copy of the report can be found here  Summary Report or from the OSF project page (here) where you can find further details about the project.
